I slept through the night for the first time in 5 months! It was glorious. I went to sleep at 10pm and woke up at 5:45am. My usual is going to bed around 9pm and waking up at 2am and 4 am. I feel spectacular this morning. I may not even need a nap.

Tomorrow is the big day! WE FINALLY FIND OUT THE GENDER! What do we think it will be? I think/want it to be a boy and Matt thinks/wants a girl. We will see who is correct. Ideally we want a super healthy baby so we do not care if boy or girl, but there’s nothing wrong with guessing.

My workout last night consisted of a 10 minute Emom with a Power Clean and Jerk @75% and adding weight each minute. I started with 125 pounds and ended with 5 minutes at 175 pounds. I was pumped about still being able to lift this weight without it feeling too heavy, yet. After the Clean and Jerk Emom we jumped into two 6 min AMRAPs first 6 min 3,6,9,etc Thrusters 65 lbs, AB mat sit-ups, and Chest to bar pull-ups Rest for 3 minutes and then the next 6 minutes 3,6,9, etch Thrusters 55 lbs, AB mat sit-ups, and pull-ups. The hardest part of this workout was the AB mat Sit-ups. I could do thrusters and the pull-ups fine. I can feel the gravity beginning to pull my body forward because of the extra front loaded weight. I had to focus to stay on my heels and not my toes on the thrusters.

I’m getting really excited to spend the weekend in Joplin, MO where all my siblings are meeting up with their kids and we are celebrating my dad’s birthday and Easter all together. It’s very rare for all four of us siblings plus kids and parents to be in the same place at the same time. We are going to have a blast! So in one house there will be 10 adults and 3 grandkids and out of the 10 adults, 3 of the women are pregnant! It’s going to be an awesome crazy! I can’t wait!
