Driven Whey Protein Oatmeal Cookies

While shakes are always great, I wanted to find a few other ways to get some more protein in! • • • I made these Protein Oatmeal cookies the other day and they turned out great…and they were pretty easy too. A few tips when making them:
• put the batter in the fridge/freezer for a little bit so it’s not warm when you are forming the cookies. • Be sure to smash them down before putting them in the oven otherwise they won’t flatten out. • Be sure to enjoy within 5-7 days – they will start to dry out after this! • • •

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups old fashioned oats
2  scoops Driven Vanilla Whey Protein
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 egg
1/2 cup apple sauce
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp honey
1/4 cup raisins

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven 350
  2. Mix dry ingredients in 1 bowl, the wet ingredients in another bowl.
  3. Mix wet ingredients with dry and add in raisins.
  4. Bake for 6-8 min or until golden.
