Berry Frozen Protein Yogurt

🍦 Froyo certainly isn’t a health food, but it’s a great alternative to ice cream, and if you make it yourself, it can be a nice little source of protein too! 💪🏼 Here is a super simple recipe for berry frozen yogurt you can tuck away for the days when it isn’t below freezing outside. 🥶

Total Time:

7-45 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

-4 cups of your favorite frozen strawberries, (we usually have bags of mixed, so that’s what we use.)
-1 Cup plain Greek yogurt (your choice here if you want low fat or full fat, and if you don’t think you can hack plain yogurt, try a low sugar vanilla Greek yogurt like Too Good instead!)
-1 Scoop @drivennutrition vanilla Whey Protein
2 Tbsp Honey

DIRECTIONS:

Place everything in a food processor.
Process until completely smooth. It will take a few minutes.
Serve immediately if you like it soft-set or place in the freezer until ready to eat. Let it sit at room temperature for 5-7 minutes before scooping if using from the freezer.
This recipe has approximately 40 grams of protein! You definitely won’t be getting that from Ben & Jerry’s!
