I had one of the best days I have had since I found out I was pregnant! This morning I woke up around 7:30am and decided to try something new. I went to the Library Station on Campbell and was going to begin reading the books, “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” and “Baby Wise.” Of course both were checked out, but I put a hold on them when they come back to the library. I decided to go the coffee shop and drink a cup of coffee and plan a baby moon with my two sisters to a resort. Both my sisters have one child each and they are younger than me. My sister, Chrissy, is pregnant with her 2nd and is due June 16. My sisters and I have become super close and love to spend time together whenever we can. I am so excited both my sisters decided to splurge and let me plan a beach vacation for 4 days!
Then after I talked with my sisters I went to the gym and worked on snatches. I lifted really heavy and did a 20 minute EMOM with 165-175 lbs snatches. I was pleased being able to hit those numbers over and over again. I had 8 misses in that 20 minutes, but I am thrilled with my consistency. After that I did a partner workout with Jessica Griffith.
After the workout, Jared, Jess, Tony, Daryl, and me went to Aviary for lunch. I went to Evangel immediately after to coach volleyball. We had 5 tryouts today, which we needed. I even got to play volleyball for 2 hours. I didn’t dive on my belly at all. I played defense and it felt good to play the sport I am so passionate about.
I am feeling so good today. I ran out of energy around 7:30pm, but it is an improvement from having to take a nap plus going to bed at 8:30pm.
Something I need to take note of is Matt’s early to rise method. He is waking up every morning at 5:40am to begin his day. I asked him why are you waking up so early? He told me to get himself prepared to not sleep when the baby arrives. He needs to train himself to sleep less and accomplish more. He is too cute and one of the hardest if not the hardest workers I know. I need to keep asking him why he does things because I think he’s going to have some interesting methods to his madness. I am so blessed God put him in my life to be my husband. He cracks me up and makes me mad in a blink of an eye, but I love him. I need to begin a section with Matt says…I won’t tell him I am writing about him in my blog. That means you all can’t tell him either.
