Went to the doctor yesterday afternoon and am already starting to dilate and cervix is soft and ready to go. The baby’s head is the lowest it can be in the pelvis and he’s in the correct position. The doctor told me the baby cannot flip because he is so low, but the bad news is you are going to be in a lot of pain until you deliver. Yeah! She said I could deliver any time and everything would be fine. So all in all it was a good doctor’s appointment. However, I do not like these no pants doctor’s appointments. Very uncomfortable! I don’t think I am going to like this birthing a child thing. It’s going to hurt really badly.

I had a win yesterday. I went to the grocery store all by myself. I had to get groceries yesterday, but I have had issues with staying on my feet for longer than 30 minutes at a time without resting. So I set my timer on my phone for 30 minutes to get as many groceries and check out. I made it out to my car before the 30 minutes ran out and I started hurting. I still had to unload the groceries into my car. I managed, but when I got home, I unloaded the groceries and had to lay down immediately. I didn’t care I was so happy to have accomplished this once so small a task. I am so thankful Matt is coming home on Monday to help me with things that used to be so easy. Maybe I am being a wimp, but it is mentally and physically exhausting at this stage for me. I try to be tough, but I get so tired.

It doesn’t help that now I am waking up at 2am every night until about 4am. Then I try to fall back asleep, but I don’t fall into a deep sleep anymore after 4am. I try not to nap during the day, but I do try to exercise some, rest and read when I can.

Another positive I have figured out is how to sneeze and not wet my pants anymore. I can now sneeze and walk again. Before I had to stop, cross my legs, then sneeze to prevent this happening. Things are looking up.

Well, that is all I have for my pregnancy adventure.
